Wasting our lives and glorifying God

Wasting our lives and glorifying God
Notice God's unutterable waste of saints, according to the judgment of the world. God plants His saints in the most useless places. We say - God intends me to be here because I am so useful. Jesus never estimated His life along the line of the greatest use. God puts His saints where they will glorify Him, and we are no judges at all of where that is. ~Oswald Chambers, My Utmost For His Highest, August 10

Update on Munkhuush

Dolgor has posted two updates today on Munkh-Erdene's Caring Bridge page.  Please check it out for updates on how to pray: Visit Munkhuush on Caring Bridge.

Right now we are listening to a variety of worship music on YouTube.  When the music plays is when he is the calmest.  (David's harp anyone?)

And in my crazy charismatic way, I've been posting Scriptures and little prophetic doodles on his bed and around the room.  Gotta leave a mark before I leave tomorrow.  Also, I've been daily--and more often--anointing him with oil and making declarations.  And I brought a prayer cloth I saved from Cindy Jacobs and have laid that on him.

"BLESSED be the LORD my Rock, Who trains my hands for war, And my fingers for battle— My lovingkindness and my fortress, My high tower and my deliverer, My shield and the One in whom I take refuge."  Psalms 144:1-2

A couple thoughts to leave you with as you pray.  I refuse to believe the theology that God sent this illness to teach us something, to try our faith, or for any other mysterious reason.  This is the condition of the battle we are in, but the illness is not the will of God.  Our hands are being trained for war.  So let us war and not just accept the earthly reality we see.  Let's bring heaven to earth.  Whatever we bind on earth will be bound in heaven.  Whatever we lose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

"If the Father sent the storm then Jesus rebuked the will of the Father....It's a perversion to think that God creates evil so Jesus can show His power. There's enough evil in the world without God working both sides. While God is able to use the devil as a pawn on a chess board, He is not in partnership with him."  (Pastor Bill Johnson)

You said it so well, God is not punishing anyone. You were such a blessing for Dolgar this week. I now have more insight to her needs. I really enjoyed getting to know you.

That drives me crazy when people say awful things like sickness builds character and such. It can, but what kind of LOVING father would do that to his kids?

Praying for little Munkh and his whole family. :)
