Wasting our lives and glorifying God

Wasting our lives and glorifying God
Notice God's unutterable waste of saints, according to the judgment of the world. God plants His saints in the most useless places. We say - God intends me to be here because I am so useful. Jesus never estimated His life along the line of the greatest use. God puts His saints where they will glorify Him, and we are no judges at all of where that is. ~Oswald Chambers, My Utmost For His Highest, August 10

Totally like whatever, you know?

This video is the perfect sequel to THIS POST.

It's OK to have an opinion and to own it.  It's OK for other people to have opinions and to own them.  And it's OK to believe that your opinion is the right one.

I wish I had written the above monologue.

I almost blogged today about how much I love toast.

Great monologue! Definite food for thought. I agree that it is good to have strong convictions and know that you are right. However, I think we have to be careful in sharing our opinions. The Lord said to speak the truth in love. We need to weigh the situation and decide if sharing our opinion would be beneficial to the audience. And we should choose our words carefully.

Sometimes when I want to spout off my opinion and I stop to check my heart, I discover my motivation in sharing is totally self-serving. At those times, it is better to stay quiet.
