...a long siesta is in order.
First we found the perfect spot which we had spied from the top of Notre Dame. It was the garden courtyard of a nearby church. I THINK it could have been called St. Thomas, but as I didn't write it down I cannot be sure.
We found a bench and pulled out the tasty lunch I picked up on Rue Cler that morning. Baguette sandwiches, fresh tomatoes, blueberries, and red wine.
After we ate I stretched out on the bench, laid my head in Gana's lap and took a nap. Tres refreshing!
Once the heat of the afternoon had passed we were ready to continue taking in the city, via foot. This is the way I recommend seeing Paris. Just walk. There is scope for the imagination everywhere (as Anne would say)!

Beautiful! The food even looks more interesting than food here. :)
