Wasting our lives and glorifying God

Wasting our lives and glorifying God
Notice God's unutterable waste of saints, according to the judgment of the world. God plants His saints in the most useless places. We say - God intends me to be here because I am so useful. Jesus never estimated His life along the line of the greatest use. God puts His saints where they will glorify Him, and we are no judges at all of where that is. ~Oswald Chambers, My Utmost For His Highest, August 10

Wandering around Rome, looking for the perfect place for a picnic

Although not a possible place for a picnic, we wandered into a chapel that had beautiful frescoes.  We just couldn't resist peaking into practically every church we passed.  The art and architecture just captured us.

Said a little prayer for my friend, Andrea, at a capella for Mother Teresa.

I can't recall where exactly Gana took this picture,
but the rope rings a bell.

A perfect picnic spot was found.  Stay tuned for a a perfect Roman picnic!
